Apple states that it will produce a USB-C iPhone, but the Lightning port might not entirely disappear.

Do you know Apple confirms USB Type-C?

Confirmed: According to Apple's vice president of global marketing, Greg Joswiak, the USB-C charging port will be available with the company's forthcoming iPhone. By 2024, all gadgets must have USB-C charging connectors, under a law recently passed by the EU.

Note: Next line-up of iPhones15 will not feature the lighting port.

Apple, the only manufacturer of smartphones with a unique charging connector, stated that it had no alternative but to abide by EU law. Greg Joswiak, a senior at Apple, said: "Obviously, we'll have to comply; we have no other option."
